I was already a huge fan of their original branding. In order to make it still relatable to their current audience, I found that utilizing the actual architectural structure of the building seems to lead to a very interesting solution.
The goal is to recreate a flexible logo, interior signage, promotional materials, tickets, a mobile app and various merchandise.
This campaign includes various promotional materials. The concept was to give the message "Respect the Million" a trust-worthy and sturdy look.
The concept went through multiple revisions. The final version for all the print materials has a more simplified look.
P.W.E.H. is a mock youth mentoring program that has four interdependent sections. I was asked to choose the perfect media that can deliver the message to the audience in the most efficient way.
The internet is no doubt where most younger people would spend their time on. The website serves as a hub for youngsters who are interested or currently enrolled in the program.
Fribe is a platform that allows people from outside of NYC to connect with people who share the same taste or lifestyle. Potentially, according to the Fribes that one joins, he or she will be able to find a suitable place to live in NYC. This solves the problem on a physical level. Because they don’t have as many connections and resources, it becomes rather difficult to locate a suitable place for them to live. This leads to a sense of loneliness which is the emotional level of this existing problem. Through syncing the music library or analyzing one’s answers to the questions, Fribe suggests groups of people who might share the same taste and lifestyle for the user, and helps the user locate apartments based on check-ins.
Jane Iredale pledges to provide a product line that has the utmost integrity and the ability to enhance the lives of women through its effectiveness, simplicity and beauty. They believe that our activities should governed by the requirements of our customers and our concerns for the environment.
The essential messaging is to emphasize the simplicity aspect of the brand. I somehow was driven to integrate the idea of sophistication and naturalness. The gold-ish color is taken from Jane Iredale's makeup line to keep the brand consistent. After all, the goal is to create a new line of the Jane Iredale's hair care products that lives with the brand.
Kafer Confidential is a mock global shipping company that provides international express mail services. Originally founded in Washington D.C., Kafer delivered confidential documents for domestic businesses. The company expanded its service around the world by broadening its services from document delivery to personal luxury handling and delivery as well.
Kafer means beetle in German. The process began with collecting terms that are related to beetles. The image of a beetle is usually associated with protection, security and sturdiness. Therefore, I decided to incorporate some watercolor to represent the royal and luxurious image of the brand.
The goal is to create a brand identity for Kafer Confidential including a stationery system.

The goal is to rebrand the company, mainly through the website incorporating geometric shapes that represent the personality of the company.
I tested out 2 solutions for the logo. One was a typographical approach that includes the letter "C". The other solution was to create an image-based mark that ties into the brand conceptually.
Chained is a literary journal that curates a collection of stories that reflect the theme of “bad behavior.”
In order to demonstrate the authenticity and uniqueness of each story, I decided to conduct my own photoshoot for all the visuals appeared in the journal to better convey the message.
The concept is to create a visual image that shows how one can be trapped and chained by words.

I got to use my watercolor skills for this specific project to give the brand an authentic, earthy and heart-warming look.
As a visual communicator, it’s essential to be capable of delivering messages using aesthetic approaches. This project is to help me as a designer to explore distinctive methods of utilizing design tools.
This campaign was created to promote John Thackara's lecture that was held at Miami University, Oxford. Each poster used an infographic as the central visual. The Theme for the campaign is how technology, information and sustainability should work cohesively in our society.
In order to emphasize the essence of the messaging on each poster for the audience, I decided to simplify every graphic element used for the infographics. Technologies has always been extremely impactful in a plethora of aspects of our lives.
